If something went wrong, say which phone and iOS version you have and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot helps.

The app says it needs the microphone.: Callsong scores your singing by listening to it, so it cannot run a lesson without the mic. Open Settings on your phone, find Callsong, and switch Microphone on. Your voice is analyzed on the phone and never recorded or uploaded; the privacy page has the details.
My range came out wrong.: Sing in a quiet room, a hand's width from the phone, and hold each note steady for a couple of seconds. On the Home screen, “Erase all data” starts the app over so you can take the range test again.
Nothing draws while I sing.: Turn the volume up so you can hear the phrase, and check that no other app is using the microphone. Bluetooth headphones add delay; the built-in mic works best.
Can I use it without an iPhone?: The same lessons and tools run in the browser at callsong.app.
